How does heat-sealable paper work?
Heat-sealable paper gets its sealing properties from a single-sided heat-seal coating applied to the base paper. Under defined sealing temperature and pressure, this coating bonds during the packaging process. The result is a clean seal seam.
BRANOseal HS is designed for use on suitable packaging machines such as flow-wrap, form-fill-seal, and pouch-forming equipment. It replaces plastic-based packaging materials with a paper-based solution.
BRANOseal HS is paper-based and recyclable – a sustainable alternative to plastic-based packaging films that can be disposed of easily through regular waste paper collection (PAP 22).

The sustainability of heat-sealable paper
BRANOseal HS is based on paper, and therefore on a renewable raw material. It replaces packaging materials made from fossil-based plastic with a paper-based solution. Production is more resource-efficient and causes significantly less climate impact than conventional plastic films. After use, the material can be fully recycled through waste paper collection (PAP 22) and returned to the paper cycle.
This helps companies make their packaging future-proof in line with the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). That means less plastic waste, a closed material cycle, and a tangible contribution to their own sustainability goals.
